Rachel Latham

Rachel’s recent work with EIF includes contributing to the assessment of evidence for the review of what works to enhance interparental relationships and improve outcomes for children, and leading the ESRC-funded work on genetics and the environment. She is currently nearing completion of her PhD in developmental psychology at the University of Sussex, where her research focuses on the quality of coparenting between mothers and fathers.

Previously, Rachel spent four years working for Brighton and Hove Children’s Services, where she provided parenting support to at-risk families in the community, supervised contact between looked after children and their birth families, and was responsible for statutory visits and care planning for children in care.
