Miriam Sorgenfrei

Senior Research Officer

Prior to joining EIF, Miriam worked with the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) on an evidence gap map on digital health interventions. Besides the quality appraisal of included studies, part of her work was the quality control of the dataset being created.

Miriam is a philosophy and political science graduate (from Tuebingen, Germany) and has a strong interest in the relative strengths and weaknesses of different research methodologies. She completed her MSc in social policy research at LSE, where she improved her knowledge on both qualitative and quantitative methods and discussed the potential of carefully applying mixed methods to get a more comprehensive understanding. While at LSE, she supported the pan-European thinktank 89 Initiative as a policy researcher.
