The EIF Early Intervention Academy for Police Leaders (2015–17) was created to progress the role of the police in early intervention, and was supported by the Home Office and the College of Policing.

EIF worked with 24 future police leaders from forces across England and Wales, who were all committed to putting early intervention at the centre of their work. Academy activity included a series of expert-led masterclasses and learning sessions, which drew on the latest evidence and innovation. Delegates used the academy to develop practical plans that they will take back to their chief officers and implement in their forces and with their partners.
