Head of Evaluation, Youth Endowment Fund
Daniel leads the evaluation work for the Youth Endowment Fund.
Daniel has recently returned from a secondment to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, where he led work on evidence-informed policy-making with a thematic focus on early intervention.
Previously, he led EIF’s review of what works to enhance interparental relationships and improve outcomes for children, as well as the assessment of social and emotional learning interventions using EIF’s evidence standards.
He joined EIF from the Cabinet Office, where he managed research and evaluation projects in support of the Office for Civil Society and Youth Policy. Before that, Daniel was a research associate at the Centre for Education Research and Practice at AQA Education where he published work on education policy as well as carrying out evaluations of assessment procedures. Daniel is a developmental psychologist, with an MSc in psychological research methods and a PhD in developmental psychology at the University of Nottingham.
