Policy & Practice Adviser
Danny joined EIF in October 2020 from an east London local authority, where he worked as a social worker in a child protection and looked-after children’s team for three years. Prior to this, Danny worked in qualitative and quantitative research at BritainThinks and in a policy role at campaigning organisation Bite The Ballot, where he focused on improving young people’s engagement with democratic institutions in the UK.
Danny has a BA from the University of Cambridge in politics, psychology and sociology, and an MSc in social work from the University of Bedfordshire. His dissertation research focused on the strengths and limitations of therapeutically informed social work practice with children and families living in poverty.
