Dr Pippa Davie
Prior to joining EIF in 2020, Pippa completed her PhD at King’s College London, investigating infant feeding practices and support needs among women and infants with health risks. During her time at King’s, Pippa developed a mixed-methods research programme founded on the success of multidisciplinary collaborations between clinicians, academics and charity stakeholders across health psychology, women’s health and maternity research, and public health. Her research interests focus on cross-disciplinary collaborations aimed at implementing research findings that provide priority targets for evidence-based programmes to reduce health inequalities among women, families and children.
Pippa previously completed the MSc in health psychology at KCL, and has previous experience working in the Department of Midwifery (KCL) as a research assistant. She also worked as a postgraduate teaching assistant on courses delivered to psychology and medical students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
