Simran holds a BA in psychology from New York University Abu Dhabi and an MSc in education and child development from the University of Oxford.
During her MSc, Simran conducted mixed methods research to investigate the effectiveness of an early classroom-based, self-regulation intervention programme. More broadly, her research interests include socioemotional development and wellbeing during early childhood.
Before joining EIF and throughout her studies, Simran worked as a research assistant on longitudinal and cross-sectional research projects within developmental and educational psychology. She also spent some time working as a primary school teacher.
