Dr James Mulcahy
Before joining EIF in 2020, James was studying for a PhD in cognitive and affective neuroscience at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, focused on understanding emotion in autism spectrum conditions. During his PhD, James primarily worked on a large clinical trial, testing a novel therapy aimed at reducing anxiety in autistic adults. He has also spent time working as a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) caseworker
James currently holds a BSc in psychology from Swansea University and an MSc in clinical neurodevelopmental sciences from King’s College London.
